We contribute to the fight against global warming. Every order we receive plants a tree, either in North America, Brazil, Africa, or Asia.

OneTreePlanted is a non-profit organization that works with schools, and any school can participate. Students learn how important trees are for our climate and what the effects of deforestation are. Further information can be found on the homepage “onetreeplanted.org”.

Years of paper-saving use of wooden cubes from sustainable, controlled cultivation

The Classroomcubes and the Cubesbox are manufactured in Indonesia using wood from sustainable cultivation. The wood is certified (Indonesian Legal Wood 060-LVLK-010-IDN) and comes from sustainable cultivation.

The cubes are made of pine wood and the cubesbox is made of spruce. They meet both EU and USA safety standards EN71 and ASTM.

Unfortunately, we had to rule out production in Switzerland or Europe for cost reasons. The search for a suitable producer led us to a family business in Indonesia that has been producing wooden toys for 30 years. The youngest employee is 27 years old - child labor is excluded. The factory works with modern CNC machines. For the complex painting and printing – each of the 32 cubes is individually made – a combination of hand painting and printing was used. The production of the cubes supports the local population in and around Surabaya.

The Classroomcubes can be used for years. Using the cubes instead of paper counteracts the flood of copies and sustainably conserves resources.
